Kesäkeidas Summer Terrace Restaurants will screen Hockey Championship games and Eurovision final

Kesäkeidas Summer Terrace Restaurants is a cozy seating area with a wide range of food and drink for all tastes. The Summer Terrace Restaurants area, located between Tampere Theatre and the City Hall will open on Wednesday 10 May at 11 am, just in time for the 2023 Ice Hockey World Championship. All the championship games played in Tampere will be screened at the terrace, which has a capacity for up to 500 people. In addition, The Eurovision Song Contest will be screened in the area on Saturday 13 May. 

The Summer Terrace Restaurants offers something to every customer group while also highlighting Tampere’s food and restaurant culture. The restaurants provide a diverse selection of options to those who follow special diets. 

The Eurovision Song Contest will be screened on Saturday 13 May. The show is partly simultaneous with the Finnish game, so when the Germany-Finland match ends, the screen will start showing the Eurovision Song Contest.

Home of Hockey zone brings hockey hype in Central Square

The Home of Hockey zone, free of admission and open to everyone, offers programs and activities every day throughout the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship from 12–28 May.

In the area, you can watch the ice hockey World Cup matches played in Tampere for free and take part in a variety of hockey related activities and games. The event area is located right in the heart of the city, in the area between Keskustori Central Square and Frenckell square.
